Bed Centre Rails and Components

A bed centre support rail is a piece of timber or metal that runs down the centre of your bed frame (from head to toe) that provides support or extra support for your bed slats.

Most Double, King and Super King beds that have bed slats require a bed centre rail running down the length of the bed frame. It is debatable whether a small double bed requires one; depending on the type of slats used.

Depending on the dimensions and materials of your centre rail, you may require centre rail feet or a centre rail foot to strengthen the rail.

We have a great range of centre rails and components including heavy duty centre rails (which don’t require any feet); Universal Centre Rails (ideal for metal antique beds), Centre rail brackets, wooden centre support feet and metal bed centre rail feet.

We also manufacture special bed centre rails designed to work with beech sprung bed slats. These are ideal when you have a broken centre rail with sprung bed slat holders/ caps already attached.
