Wooden Adjustable Bed Centre Rail Foot - 40mmØ

These Adjustable centre rail feet designed and manufactured in-house and are exclusive sold by us. 

This is the most Universal Adjustable Bed Centre Rail Foot in the UK Market.

These adjustable Wooden feet are available in various sizes to meet all requirements. If you have a unusual size; custom sizes can be manufactured on request (please email)

They are designed to strengthen both wooden and metal tubular centre rails. They can also be used to strengthen the middle rail of a metal tubular slatted bed base.

The number of feet required various from centre rail to centre rail (between 1 and 3). Many bed manufacturers provide very poor quality  centre rails to save on cost. Metal hollow tubular centre rails are especially a problem; if you have notcied your rail has started to bend it is definitely worth strengthening, once it breaks it will be extremely hard to replace.

The Centre Rail foot is supplied with

  • M6 Flat head furniture connecting bolt; various lengths available depending on the depth of your centre rail.
  • Premium M8  x 75mm Adjuster (with tilt)
  • M8 Washer
  • M8 Locking Nut

Measurements

You need to measure from the bottom of the centre rail to the floor

If you do not currently have a centre rail, you need to measure from the Bottom of your slats to the floor (Minus) the depth of your centre rail

Installation   3-10 minutes

Step 1 

You need to drill a hole through your centre rail; if one is not already provided.

If you are drilling a new holes, ideally you need a 6mm or 7mm drill bits. If the holes is larger, this will be fine, the head of the M6 Furniture bolt is 14.5mm

Step 2

You use the M6 Furniture Connector Bolts provided to put through the hole in the centre rail and into the threaded insert located on the top of the foot

Step 3

Adjust the adjuster also it is flat against the floor

Step 4

Once the adjuster is firmly against the floor, you need to tighten the locking nut at the bottom of the foot to lock it into position
